A lunch in 2000, remembered for twenty years

In February 2018 Paul J. Pinizzotto of the Garfield Brooklyn Blog described a graffiti-covered storefront in San Lorenzo that seemed little changed in fifty years. He had lunch there with his father in 2000: no menu, a large spread of antipasti, three pastas and an excellent ossobuco, for about 100,000 lire. Today our menu is written down, but the table without hurry is what we hope never changes.
